Industry Eco Clean: Terms & CondITIONs 2026

1) Definitions

  • “We / Us / Our” means Industry Eco Clean (operated by Industry Co. Pty Ltd).
  • “You / Client” means the person booking the service and/or the property occupant.
  • “Service” means any cleaning service we provide, including Residential, Office/Commercial, Bond Cleans, and (from mid-2026) End of Build cleans

2) Bookings

  1. Bookings can be made online or by contacting us directly.
  2. Weekend bookings are available by enquiry only (not always available through online booking). Please contact us to discuss weekend availability.
  3. If you require a quote, inspection, custom scope, or access coordination, please contact us before booking.

3) Operating Hours & Contacting

  • Phone contact hours (current): 8:30am – 6:00pm. 
  • Cleaning operation hours (current): 8:30am – 2:00pm. 
  • After-hours cleans (commercial only): from 9:00pm, by enquiry.
    These hours may expand as our business grows.

4) Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full on the day of the clean (100% required).

Payment is due before completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If payment is not received on the day, we reserve the right to:

-pause/stop the service,

--withhold handover confirmation,

-decline future bookings, and/or

-charge additional admin or recovery fees where applicable.

5) Pricing & Time-Based Services

Many of our services are time-based. This means we work through your home/office systematically within the booked time.

If the property is larger, has heavy build-up, excessive clutter, or requires additional tasks, we may not be able to complete every item within the time booked.


If additional time is required, we can:

offer to extend time (if available), billed at our standard hourly rate, or

recommend a follow-up booking / upgrade.

6) Scope of Work & Service Inclusions

Your booking includes only the tasks listed for that service (Eco Maintenance, Signature, Deep Detail Upgrade, Office Maintenance, etc.).


Bond Cleans / Commercial Bond / End of Build / Post-Construction services may require inspection and are quoted individually due to differing site conditions and handover standards.


We do not guarantee “bond return” outcomes (as final decisions sit with property managers/landlords), but we clean to professional standards consistent with the booked scope and time.

7) Client Preparation (Tidy vs Clean)

To get the best results from your booking:


We ask that the property is tidied (not cleaned) before we arrive:

-clear floors where possible,

-put away personal items,

-leave accessible benches/surfaces.

-If there is clutter, we can do a quick gather into a basket/area if requested, but this time comes out of your booked cleaning time.


Dishes:

-a small amount is fine, this is expected.

-large amounts of dishes/pots/pans must be stacked neatly or may reduce time available for other tasks.


8) Access to Property

You must provide safe access at the scheduled time (keys, codes, gate access, or someone present).


If we cannot access the property within 15 minutes of arrival, it may be treated as a late cancellation and fees may apply.


If you request a key/lockbox arrangement, you accept responsibility for correct instructions and safe storage.

9) Safety & Work Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse, pause or modify services if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to:


  • aggressive animals,
  • unsafe electrical hazards,
  • broken glass, exposed nails/renovation hazards,
  • mould infestations,
  • human/animal waste, bodily fluids, syringes, or other biohazards,
  • unsafe access heights (high external windows, roofs, unstable ladders),
  • extreme hoarding environments.

Where possible, we will discuss options with you.


10) Pets

Please tell us at booking if you have pets and whether they will be home.


Pets must be secured if:

  • they are anxious, aggressive, or prone to escaping, or
  • they may interfere with equipment (e.g., steam cleaner, vacuum).
  • We are not responsible for pets escaping due to unsecured gates/doors or if a pet is not appropriately secured as requested.

11) Products, Equipment & Supplies

We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment unless agreed otherwise.


We use eco-conscious products wherever possible. For some services (particularly bond cleans / heavy grease / build-up removal), stronger professional products may be used responsibly to meet inspection standards while still being mindful of safety and environmental impact.


If you have allergies/sensitivities to scents or ingredients, you must notify us prior to your booking so we can accommodate where reasonably possible.


12) What We Don’t Do (Unless agreed)

Unless specifically booked/quoted, we do not include:

  • hazardous waste removal,
  • forensic/biohazard cleaning,
  • mould remediation,
  • pest control,

  • high-access external window cleaning,
  • carpet steam cleaning (unless arranged),
  • pressure washing beyond what is quoted,
  • lifting/moving heavy furniture or appliances.


13) Quality, Breakages & Reporting

If something is damaged due to our negligence, we will take reasonable steps to rectify it (repair/replace) at our discretion and in line with our insurance and assessment.


You must notify us of any concerns within 24 hours of the service (photos appreciated). Issues reported outside this timeframe may not be accepted due to inability to verify cause.


Normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or delicate items not disclosed are not our responsibility.


14) Client Responsibilities & Utilities

You agree to provide, where required:


  • access to running water and electricity,
  • a reasonably safe working environment,
  • parking access (where possible),
  • clear instructions for any alarms/locks/security systems.

15) Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

  1. We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
     
  2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
     
  3. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a 100% service fee.
    This includes:
     
    • Failure to provide property access
       
    • Locked premises
       
    • Incorrect access details
       
    • Utilities unavailable (water/electricity)
       
    • Client not present where required
       

  1. Late arrival by the client does not extend the allocated booking time.
     

We reserve your time exclusively and often decline other bookings to honour your appointment. Thank you for respecting our schedule.

16) Photos & Marketing

We may take before/after photos for quality control and/or insurance documentation.


We will not post identifiable photos of your personal belongings or your address without your consent.


If you consent to marketing photos, you can withdraw consent at any time in writing.

17) Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with Australian privacy principles. We only use your information to provide services, manage bookings, and communicate with you.

Real Estate, Property Managers & Builders – Additional Terms

 

18) Inspection & Quotation

All Bond and End of Build Cleans are quoted individually and may require:

  • Site inspection
  • Photo review
  • Real estate checklist


Quotes are based on information provided and visible site conditions at time of inspection.

If the property condition differs significantly on the day of service, additional charges may apply.

19) Handover Standards

 

We clean to professional presentation standards aligned with:

  • Property manager checklists (where provided)
  • Practical completion standards
  • Agreed scope of works

Final bond release decisions remain at the discretion of the property owner or managing agent.

20) Rectification / Touch-Up Cleans

If a property manager or builder identifies reasonable cleaning-related concerns within 48 hours of handover, and those items fall within the originally agreed scope:

• We will return once to rectify those items at no additional labour charge.

This does not apply where:

  • The property has been reoccupied
  • Additional trades have attended after completion
  • New damage, dust or debris has occurred
  • The request relates to items outside the agreed scope

Additional visits beyond the initial rectification may be chargeable.

21) Trades & Post-Clean Contamination

 We are not responsible for dust, debris, marks or damage caused by:

  • Trades attending after our clean
  • Ongoing construction activity 
  • Landscaping work
  • Painting or plastering completed after our service

If further cleaning is required due to continued works, this will be charged as a new booking.

22) Access & Utilities (Commercial / Builder Sites)

The client must ensure:

  • Safe site conditions
  • Electricity and water available
  • Rubbish and construction materials removed prior to final clean (unless included in quote)
  • Clear access to all areas

Hazardous waste removal is not included.

23) Surface Protection & Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing scratches or defect 
  • Poorly cured paint, silicone or grout
  • Staining due to material faults
  • Surfaces not suitable for standard cleaning products
     

Adhesive and residue removal is performed where safe and reasonable without damaging surfaces.


 

24) Delays & Scheduling

Builder or real estate delays may impact scheduling.
We require confirmation of site readiness prior to dispatch.

If a site is not ready upon arrival, the cancellation policy may apply.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
